Two minors were injured in an attack carried out by gunmen on Tuesday night in Villa Gobernador Gálvez. A 14-year-old teenager and a 6-year-old girl were hit by gunfire in two houses on the same block.

The teenager suffered a gunshot wound to the hand and a graze on the chest, but he is stable and under observation with antibiotic treatment. On the other hand, the girl sustained a graze wound on her forehead and has already been discharged in the morning of Wednesday.

The owner of one of the affected houses told police that she was with her son and granddaughter when they heard the gunfire that injured the minors. In the houses, agents found five bullet impacts and 14 spent cartridges from a 9-millimeter firearm.

The investigation has been handed over to the Rosario Investigative Police, who are analyzing the security cameras in the area to identify those responsible and conducting forensic examinations on the found cartridges. So far, there have been no arrests related to the incident.

Although the minors are out of danger, the situation has generated concern in the Santa Fe city due to the increase in shootings and attacks at the beginning of 2025.
